# weekendflights > Cheapest weekend flights for the next 52 weekends, one calendar per route. Friday out, Sunday back, round trip, one adult, economy. Prices come from live searches that visitors trigger and are cached with the time they were observed. ## What the site is - One page per route: https://weekendflights.app/{orig}-{dest}. IATA codes, lower case. Example: https://weekendflights.app/zrh-bcn - The page shows a 12-month calendar. Each weekend cell holds the cheapest round-trip price seen for that weekend. - A route that nobody has opened yet is priced on the first visit. The price appears on the page within seconds. - Coverage: 11 European origins (ZRH, BCN, MAD, LHR, CDG, AMS, FRA, MUC, BER, MXP, DUB) and 8 US origins (LAX, NYC, SFO, ORD, DFW, MIA, SEA, BOS), plus any other airport pair a visitor types. - Prices are shown in the currency of the departure country (ZRH in CHF, BCN in EUR, LHR in GBP, US origins in USD). - Index of routes: https://weekendflights.app/routes/ ## Free tier and Pro - Free: every route page, the Friday-Sunday weekend, economy, any number of stops, any passenger mix, any currency. - Pro (https://weekendflights.app/pricing): other weekend shapes (Thursday-Sunday, Friday-Monday, Saturday-Sunday and more), premium economy, business and first cabin, departure and return time windows, and the Anywhere calendar. - Anywhere calendar, Pro only: https://weekendflights.app/{orig}-anywhere shows the cheapest destination for each of the next 52 weekends from one origin. Example: https://weekendflights.app/zrh-anywhere ## URL grammar - https://weekendflights.app/{orig}-{dest} one route, 52 weekends - https://weekendflights.app/{orig}-anywhere one origin, the cheapest destination per weekend (Pro) - https://weekendflights.app/routes/ the list of route pages - https://weekendflights.app/mcp the MCP endpoint (see below) ## MCP endpoint for AI agents - URL: https://weekendflights.app/mcp - Transport: MCP Streamable HTTP, JSON-RPC 2.0 over POST, one JSON response per request. Free calls need no authentication. - Pro on the MCP: add the URL, click Connect, log in, Allow. OAuth 2.1, no key. In Claude, the Connect card appears the first time a call needs Pro; log in with the email of your Pro subscription. - Rate limit: 30 requests per minute and 400 per day per IP address. - weekend_prices answers from the cache at once and searches the unpriced weekends live during the call, the way a page visit does. Allow up to a minute for a route nobody has opened yet. If the search does not finish, the answer says which weekends are still open and to call again. - The live search is capped like the page: 30 fresh searches per IP address per hour. - Tools: list_origins, weekend_prices(origin, dest, ...filters), cheapest_weekends(origin, month?, limit?, ...filters). - cheapest_weekends ranks every destination from one origin, like the Anywhere page, so it is Pro only (Connect, or a Pro session cookie). Without Pro it answers pro_required with the Anywhere page url. One route at a time is free with weekend_prices. - Filters, the same as the route page: combo (weekend shape), cabin, stops, adults, children, infants, out_from, out_to, ret_from, ret_to ("HH:MM"), currency. Free: stops, passengers, currency. Pro (Connect, or a Pro session cookie): combo, cabin, time windows. - Every answer carries "as_of" (when the price was observed) and "url" (the human page). Quote both when you use the data. ## Rules for reuse - Link to the route page when you publish anything based on the data. - Prices change. Say when the price was observed. - Do not bulk-export. Every unpriced route you ask for costs a live search; the rate limits exist to keep the free surface free. ## More - Full description: https://weekendflights.app/llms-full.txt - Terms: https://weekendflights.app/terms - Privacy: https://weekendflights.app/privacy
